Given a certain amount of processed data and information displayed in a figure or a table, the threshold a vertical paper view offers in terms of space may sometimes be too little. That is why SciFlow allows for easy rotating of your text elements.
Rotating Figures or Tables
After inserting a text element into the editor, its context menu gives the option to change the view from portrait to landscape and vice versa.
Portrait is the default view of all added text elements and describes incorporating a figure or table in the standard vertical paper format.
Landscape view places the respective visual body within a horizontal paper orientation, thus giving more space for more extensive properties.

Some Things to be Aware of
Switching to landscape view isolates the respective object on the rotated page. That means besides the title and notes of your figure or table, no other information is displayed in the horizontal view.
